Chambered in 5.56mm NATO, this economical, high performance upper assembly fits any standard Mil-Spec AR-15 lower. Forged from 6061 T6 aluminum, receiver features M4 feed ramps and an A4 flattop rail. The mid-length piston system offers a longer forearm with a more ergonomic grip, less felt recoil, and a longer sight radius for quicker sight acquisition. Rifle runs cooler, cleaner, and more reliably thanks to the patented short stroke gas piston operating system which prevents hot gas and debris from blowing back into the action. Removable Picatinny rail sections can be positioned on the lightweight, free floating forearm to meet your accessory mounting needs. The 16” barrel comes with an A2 flash hider and a black Melonite finish for wear and corrosion resistance.
