In the production process of Brownells' retro rifles and related components, sometimes the finished product doesn't quite meet all the stringent quality standards held by the company. However, these Blemished AR-15 601 lower receivers are still solid components for someone's next build, all at a significantly reduced price!
Every Blemished AR-15 601 lower receiver is constructed to the same standards in terms of material quality and specifications, but the finish on these receivers isn't exactly what's needed for the Brownells seal of approval, with finish colors ranging from shiny green to dark gray. Otherwise, this lower receiver is a great reproduction based on the original Model 601 AR receivers used by the Air Force and tested by the U.S. Army.

Each Blemished AR-15 601 lower receiver will accept all standard AR-15 components with the exception of the front takedown pin, which only works with the Model 601 Pivot Pin available from Brownells. An FFL is required to purchase this component.
