The Brownells 5.56 SOCOM-Profile AR-15 barrel takes the concept of a mil-spec AR barrel and upgrades it for the modern-day shooter, including features that make this the ideal barrel for upgrading your AR.

The Brownells 5.56 SOCOM-Profile AR-15 barrel is machined from 4150 GBQ bar-stock steel, which is fully stress relieved to promote quality and long barrel life. The barrel is then treated with a next-generation salt-bath nitride finish that enhances corrosion resistance and provides increased lubricity and accuracy.
