After the release of the ODIN Works Gen II XMR Extended Magazine Release, which is designed to clear the Magpul BAD lever, AR enthusiasts still asked for enhanced improvements to the design in order to clear KNS hammer and trigger pins. Ever-responsive to consumer demands, ODIN Works developed its Gen III line of XMR releases, which are built to work with both KNS pins and the Magpul BAD lever.
Each ODIN Works XMR Extended Magazine Release is machined from 6061 aluminum and is designed to provide a larger, push-button surface area that makes releasing magazines faster and easier than ever before. This release features the ODIN boomerang cut, and installation takes only minutes. The release fits both AR-15 and AR 308 style rifles.
