An Incredible Blend of Compact and Effective

You know that saying, "You carry a pistol because you can't carry a rifle?" Well, with the design of the FoldAR upper receiver, the footprint of a folded AR-15 is starting to look darned small. This innovative design, when paired with a folding brace or stock, can reduce the size of an AR-15 down to just the length of the receiver, depending on the barrel length used on the upper receiver.

This FoldAR upper receiver is chambered in .223 Wylde, which allows shooters to run bulk, budget-priced 5.56 NATO loads without losing accuracy when shooting match-grade .223 Rem. The patented folding mechanism allows the barrel to fold along the left side of the receiver, thanks to a combination of proprietary components, like the upper-receiver forging, gas system, barrel extension and handguard.

The entire FoldAR upper-receiver mechanism is held in place by a latch on the right side of the receiver, and deploying the system takes only seconds. Barrel lengths are available in 9-, 14.5- and 16-inch lengths, with each one topped by a threaded muzzle and using a 1:7-inch twist rate.

Note: The .223 Wylde chambering accepts and runs either .223 Remington or 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition.
