The pistol grip sets your hand position and how much control you have on the trigger. Grips differ in angle (more vertical grips suit a short stock and squared-up stance, the classic A2 angle suits a longer rifle hold), texture, finger grooves and storage. Vertical and angled foregrips mount on the handguard for support-hand control.
AR-15 pistol grips share the same mounting screw and fit any mil-spec lower. Filter by type and color and compare prices below.

Grip: common questions
Will any AR-15 grip fit my lower?
Yes, AR-15 pistol grips use the same screw and fit mil-spec lowers. The grip also holds the safety selector's detent spring, so keep it in place when you install it.
What grip angle is best?
A more vertical grip is comfortable with a short stock and squared-up stance; the standard A2 angle (about 25 degrees) suits a longer stock and a traditional rifle hold.
Can I put a vertical foregrip on an AR pistol?
Under federal law a vertical foregrip on a handgun can make it an 'any other weapon' that needs ATF approval, so pistols usually use an angled grip or a handstop instead. Check current ATF guidance first.
