The Brownells 308 AR Titanium Bolt Carrier Group is constructed using 6A1-4V titanium for the carrier, while the bolt itself is machined from 9310 tool steel. The component then undergoes magnetic-particle inspection to ensure consistency and quality. An added benefit of this lightweight BCG is that it reduces the punishment of recoil on the shooter, since less mass is moving inside the rifle with each shot.
