Engineered for accuracy, the lightweight BSF Barrels .224 Valkyrie 18.5" match-grade rifle barrel is constructed using 416R stainless steel with a carbon fiber sleeve. BSF uses carbon fiber that is specifically designed to move at the same expansion rate as 416R, and jackets the barrel by roll-wrapping the carbon riber sleeve and loading it under tension to avoid trapped heat and declamination. Additionally, holes are drilled into the carbon fiber to allow air to move around the barrel and heat to vent quicker, maintaining strength and straight rifling.
