From the manufacturer

Offers a Heavy Barrel for Enhanced Cooling

For users planning to run a lot of rounds through their 6.5 Grendel AR-15, the Criterion Barrels AR-15 6.5 Grendel HBAR barrels are a great option to add to their rifle, thanks to the increased material that helps to dissipate the heat created during rapid fire.

Each Criterion Barrels AR-15 6.5 Grendel HBAR barrel is machined from stainless steel and features a threaded muzzle compatible with many aftermarket muzzle devices. The heavy contour of the barrel also provides extra weight, enabling users to bed the rifle down for a solid benchrest position for long-range shooting.
