Recoil Brn AR-15 Offset Buffer Retainer, Black

Introducing the Brownells Offset Buffer Retainer - a solution designed to enhance the reliability and longevity of your AR-15's performance during the firing cycle. A common issue for AR-15 builds is a gap between the bolt carrier and recoil buffer. If you've ever seen "chatter" marks on a buffer, that is indication there is a gap when the firearm is assembled. This problematic gap between the carrier and buffer leads to the buffer retainer impacted the buffer on every firing cycle, making the chatter marks. This may also mean the bolt carrier is travelling without spring resistance for a short period, or is not getting the full force of the spring to go into ba Mfg: Brownells
