The Banish 45 / 46 Suppressor Piston is engineered to mount Banish 45 and Banish 46 multi-caliber suppressors onto large-bore barrels featuring a .578x28 thread pitch-the standard thread pattern for the vast majority of factory-threaded .45 ACP handguns like the Glock 21 or traditional 1911 platforms. When setting up a modular suppressor, matching the correct piston to your barrel's thread specification is essential for proper alignment and safety. Featuring an enlarged interior through-bore optimized for .45 caliber projectiles, this piston integrates into the suppressor's booster assembly to temporarily decouple the mass of the suppressor during firing, allowing semi-automatic actions to cycle reliably. Machined from robust, heat-treated steel, it stands up to high-pressure centerfire cartridges and heavy carbon buildup. Each piston includes clear, laser-engraved markings identifying the thread diameter and pitch to make installation foolproof. Compatibility: Banish 45 and Banish 46 suppressors
