AR-10 lower receivers are larger than AR-15 lowers and are built for .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor and other large-frame calibers. Unlike the AR-15, the AR-10 has no single standard: DPMS-pattern (LR-308) receivers are the most common and take SR-25-pattern magazines such as the Magpul PMAG 20 LR/SR, while ArmaLite-pattern receivers differ in how the upper fits and in some magazines.
